David Pissarro is a Lisbon based portuguese artist, musician and writer. Musically speaking, he acts and writes mainly on stage with his band, Psycho-D, formed by him in the Summer/Early Autumn of last year, but also composes a lot of orchestral pieces and songs which have a very cinematographic sound and image.

His paintings fit primarly in the abstract art style deriving influences from more of the cubism style and the abstract expressionism. The majority of his paintings all have a very warm and reddish color pallette however the paintings themselves all have very deep and dark meanings deriving influences from war, loneliness, isolation, fear, lostness and some of them even have a social criticism side to them.
